Arachova
A photogenic mountain town near Delphi, ski resort in winter and cool retreat in summer.
Arachova (Αράχωβα) clings to the slopes of Mount Parnassus 950m above sea level, 15 minutes east of Delphi. In winter it is the busiest ski destination in central Greece; in summer it is a cool, quiet stone-built town with excellent tavernas and a panoramic view over the Pleistos valley.
